From staff augmentation to strategic partner

The challenge

In the summer of 2022, the client faced a familiar problem: the shortage of experienced data analytics specialists in Sweden was acute, and the competence that was available cost more than the client was willing to pay. An ongoing project needed reinforcement – quickly – and Swedish recruitment channels were not enough.

The solution

Rebtech activated its European network of consulting firms and was quickly able to present two specialists who matched the client's needs: an Oracle Data Integrator expert and a Power BI specialist, both based in nearshore countries. The combination of deep technical expertise and competitive pricing meant the client got what they needed, without compromise.

The journey – four years of growing trust

What began as staff augmentation gradually evolved into a strategic partnership.

Autumn 2022

Rebtech staffs the engagement with an ODI specialist and a Power BI specialist who join an existing project.

Autumn 2024

The client decides to migrate the entire solution to Snowflake. Rebtech's consultants become key players in the migration, thanks to their domain knowledge and technical breadth. The ODI specialist self-certifies on the new platform alongside the engagement to meet the client's future needs.

Spring 2025

When the Power BI specialist goes on parental leave, the client brings in a Rebtech replacement for the full duration. In parallel, a new project requiring an experienced Snowflake architect is launched – again, the client trusts Rebtech to staff the role, this time with a specialist from Romania.

Spring 2026

As the consultant returns from parental leave, the product owner moves on to a new internal role – and explicitly asks to bring the Rebtech consultants along to the new department. One of the strongest possible endorsements of the partnership's value.
